Emily Sproul is in her fourth year as an assistant track coach at Pacific University.

In her first season, Sproul coached Dominic Funk to third place and All-American honors at the NCAA DIII Outdoor Track and Field National Championships. At the Northwest Conference Championships, Funk finished runner-up in the javelin. Emily also coached Andrew Reid to a runner-up finish in the men’s shot put.

Sproul graduated from Pacific with a B.A. in Education and Learning and with an M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology. While at Pacific, Sproul competed in the javelin and was a four-time NCAA Qualifier, two-time All-American and a Northwest Conference javelin champion in 2017.

Sproul is currently ranked No. 5 in Pacific University school history in the women's javelin.
