Entering into his third season as an assistant coach with the Pacific volleyball program is Neil Davidson.
 
Davidson spent 14 years coaching in Sacramento, Calif., and the Bay Area as a high school and club coach.  For three years he was the co-head coach at Christian Brothers High School in Sacramento, where he helped guide the team to league and section titles in 2013. 
 
At the same time, Davidson served as a head coach with the Sac Performance Volleyball Club, where he led the club’s 16-1 club to a Northern California Volleyball Association Silver Division No. 20 ranking.
 
His college coaching experience includes one season each as an assistant men’s volleyball coach with the club programs at UC Davis and Sonoma State.
 
Prior to his college work, Davidson spent four seasons as the girls’ volleyball coach at Sir Francis Drake High School in San Anselmo, Calif.  During his tenure, he led the school to a third place finish in the 2010 California Interscholastic Federation Division III Tournament and a second place finish in the Northern California Championship.  Davidson also coached the team to four straight postseason appearances and the 2009 Marin County Athletic League championship.
 
In addition, Davidson also coached two MCAL Players of the Year and saw three of his players go on to play at the NCAA Division I level.
 
Prior to Sir Francis Drake, Davidson served six seasons as the head boys’ and girls’ volleyball coach at Novato (Calif.) High School.  His club experience includes work with the Absolute Volleyball Club and Islanders Volleyball Club.
 
When not coaching with the Boxers, Davidson works at Intel Corporation in Hillsboro.
