Pacific University Athletics

Brent Johnson, Pacific’s Faculty Athletic Representative (FAR), is an Associate Professor of English.  He directs Pacific's First-Year Communities program and has been part of the Pacific faculty for over 20 years.  In his role as FAR, he strives to support student-athletes by serving as a bridge between faculty and athletics as well as building programming that encourages faculty to attend sporting events.  

Johnson earned his bachelor's degree from DePauw University in Indiana and went on to earn his Masters of Fine Arts from the University of Idaho.
