J.T. Greenough enters his second year as an assistant coach at Pacific University transitioning to wide receivers coach after serving as the a defensive assistant focusing on linebackers for the 2019-20 academic year.Â
Greenough joined the Pacific staff after playing quarterback four years for the Boxers on the gridiron. He wrapped up his career, earning back-to-back honorable mention all-Northwest Conference honors. As a senior, he was one of the top passers in the Northwest Conference with 230.4 yards per game (53rd in the nation) and 16 touchdowns (87th in the nation). He had a passing touchdown in nine of 10 games including four in wins over Willamette and Lewis & Clark. During his junior campaign, in 2017, he completed 117 of 199 passes for eight touchdowns and 1,282 yards. Against Willamette, he completed 83.3% (20-for-24) of his passes for 276 yards and three touchdowns.Â
His recruiting area focus is Oregon Coast, Texas and International.Â
He earned his Bachelor's degree from Pacific University in 2019.Â
