Kellan McNamara was named head coach of the Pacific women’s soccer program in 2024.
In 2025, McNamara led the Boxers to their best Northwest Conference finish in 11 years. With three wins, five losses and eight ties, Pacific finished fifth in the NWC. The Boxers earned three total draws against NWC co-champions Puget Sound and Pacific Lutheran.
A 2016 Pacific University alumnus, he played for the men's soccer team from 2012-2016. After his playing career, he served as an assistant coach for the men's program from 2017-2023. During that time, he also coached in the club circuit with Oregon Premier FC. McNamara is currently a coach with the Portland Thorns Academy.
