Dr. Tamara Tasker serves as the Sport Psychologist for Pacific athletics, and is an associate professor in Graduate Psychology at Pacific.
Dr. Tasker is a licensed psychologist in Oregon and a Certified Mental Performance Consultant® (CMPC), administered by the Association for Applied Sport Psychology (AASP) and Canadian Sport Psychology Association (CSPA). She focuses on sport and performance psychology, college students/student athletes, and diversity variables in athletics for her clinical and research interests. She is also a Mindful Sport Performance Enhancement (MSPE) instructor, and utilizes mindfulness-based approaches with her student athletes.
She earned her bachelor's degree in English Literature from Colgate University and earned her Master's and Doctoral degrees from Pacific University, both in Clinical Psychology.
