FOREST GROVE, Ore. –
Amy Mayhugh led the Boxers in the offensive third on Tuesday evening, as the senior tallied five goals in Pacific's 18-5 victory at Hanson Stadium over the visiting Saint Mary's Belles.

April Lanz (So., Oregon City, Ore.) got the scoring started for Pacific in the first two minutes as she turned a
Nicki Leeming (Jr., Las Vegas, Nev.) pass into the games opening goal.

Pacific added its second goal less than a minute later when Mayhugh (Sr., Tigard, Ore.) scored her first goal of the game on an assist from
Abby Talboy (Jr., Boise, Idaho). The Boxers surrendered the following draw control to the Belles, but
Kara Smouse (Jr., Portland, Ore.) forced a Saint Mary's turnover and collected the ground ball. After a successful clearance the Boxers added a third goal as Mayhugh struck for her second of the half.

The scoring streak continued for Pacific with 20:38 left in the half as
Meg Chapman (So., Woodinville, Wash.) scored on a free position shot, seconds before Talboy assisted on Lanz's second goal of the evening to give Pacific a 5-0 lead.

Saint Mary's struck for the first time with 19:46 left in the first half when Clare Theisen tallied her first goal of the year. Pacific responded with 17:50 on the clock as Chapman scored the would-be game-winning goal on a free position opportunity.

Leeming and Mayhugh scored goals seven and eight for Pacific, respectively, before with 12:06 left in the half Aubrey Golembieski scored her first goal of 2015 and the second of the night for Saint Mary's.

Mayhugh and Smouse pushed the Boxers lead to eight goals as Smouse assisted on a Mayhugh goal less than a minute before Mayhugh assisted on a Smouse goal to put the scoreline at 10-2.

With 5:23 left in the opening half,
Paisley Hiefield (So., Portland, Ore.) scored off an assist from Lanz, while Smouse scored Pacific's 12
th of the night with 3:03 on the clock.

Pacific wrapped the scoring in the opening half with 33 seconds left in the period as Chapman assisted on a Leeming goal.

After scoring the final goal of the first half, Leeming scored the first of the second before
Julie Mayhugh (Sr., Tigard, Ore.) assisted on her twin sister Amy's final goal of the night, giving Pacific a 15-2 advantage.

Pacific struck twice more before Saint Mary's would score again, with Lanz and Hiefield picking up the 16
th and 17
th goals of the game for Pacific, respectively.

Emilie Vanneste scored Saint Mary's third goal of the night with 18:40 to go in regulation. Hiefield ended Pacific's scoring at 16:07 when she scored her fifth goal of the season off an assist from Smouse.

Golembieski scored twice in the final 10 minutes to end the game with three goals before the Boxers picked up a late groundball to run out the clock on an 18-5 victory over the Belles.

The scoring column was headlined by
Amy Mayhugh's five goals, while Hiefield, Lanz, and Leeming all ended the game with three goals. Chapman and Smouse both scored twice on the evening for the Boxers.

Lanz finished the day with three assists to go along with her three goals. Mayhugh led Pacific on the draw with six draw controls, while Hiefield controlled five.

On the defensive end, Chapman caused five turnovers and picked up three ground balls. Smouse also finished the night with three ground ball pick-ups.

The Boxers continue their home stand on Saturday with a noon first draw against Ohio Wesleyan.
