Josh Keithly (So., Mission Viejo, Calif.) and a four-RBI effort by
Ben Duerr (Jr., Lebanon, Ore.) to put together another come-from-behind win Sunday as the Boxers scored nine runs in he final four innings to beat La Verne 11-6, taking the four-game baseball series from the Leopards at Ben Hines Field.

Keithly finished the day going 4 for 5 with three runs and two RBIs, while Duerr went 3 for 6 with four RBIs, two each in the Boxers' big seventh and eighth innings.Â
Walker Olis (Jr., Burlington, Wash.) also had a three-hit performance to back up a six-hit effort allowed by four Pacific pitchers.

La Verne (15-10) opened scoring in the first innings when Ben White hit a two-RBI single through the left side, scoring Tyler Watkins and Aaron Orona. Pacific came back in the top of the fourth when Keithly tripled to right center field and scored on
Dylan Wright's (Fr., Gilbert, Ariz.) ground out.Â

The Leopards took the run back in the home half of the fourth as Mark Jebbia scored Christien Pena's ground out. Pacific made it a 3-2 game when
Donnie Bradley (Sr., Beaverton, Ore.) singled up the middle and scored on Keithly's single.

The Boxers (9-15) started to break things open with a two-run sixth inning, with
Nathan Suyematsu's (Jr., Tualatin, Ore.) single scoring
JT Francies (Jr., Greeley, Colo.) and Olis singled to score Duerr. La Verne, however, turned an error into three runs in the bottom of the sixth. Matt Casseli reached base on the error, Woddy Reyes walked and both scored on Orona's single up the middle. Watkins later scored on a wild pitch.

Pacific got the bats going in the seventh as the first three batters had hits, capped by
Cole Kanazawa's (Fr., Honolulu, Hawaii) double to right that scored Keithly. Two batters later, Duerr had the first of his two-RBI hits as his singled scored Kanazawa and
Matt Hopp (Sr., Portland, Ore.).Â

Olis opened the eighth with a single to left field and scored on Keithly's double down the right field line. Kanazawa reached on a fielder's choice, Francies followed with a single and both scored on Duerr's double to right center.

Dylan Miller (Fr., Corvallis, Ore.) picked up his first collegiate win in relief, allowing one walk and striking out one to finish out the sixth inning. Starter
Paul Wolfram (Fr., Las Vegas, Nev.) went five innings, allowing three runs on three hits with four walks and fur strikeouts.Â
Cody Ahlgrimm (Fr., Colorado Springs, Colo.) picked up his first save, allowing one hit and striking out three in three innings. Diego Cortez fell to 0-2 with the loss in relief, allowing three runs on three hits in the seventh.

Pacific will host Concordia (Ore.) for a non-conference game on Tuesday at 6 p.m., before returning to Northwest Conference play on Friday and Saturday with a three-game series at Willamette.
