Paisley Hiefield and
Amy Mayhugh both finished with four goals on the evening, while Hiefield scored the winner for the Boxers, as Pacific topped George Fox 14-11 at Hanson Stadium on Thursday evening.

The Boxers scored the first and last goals of the evening, which opened with a Hiefield (So., Portland, Ore.) tally a little over two minutes into the game.
Meg Chapman (So., Woodinville, Wash.) followed up Hiefield's goal with one of her own off an assist from
April Lanz (So., Oregon City, Ore.).

George Fox struck back when Alexa Nakashimada assisted on a Christine Doherty goal, which was soon answered by
Nicki Leeming (Jr., Las Vegas, Nev.) scoring off an
Abby Talboy (Jr., Boise, Idaho) assist.

Pacific's 3-1 lead with 24:02 left in the opening period was soon erased as the Bruins' Miranda Edwords tallied three-straight goals to take a 4-3 lead with 19:07 on the clock.

Hiefield stopped the Bruins' run at 17:14 as she tied the game at 4-4. Less than a minute after Hiefield's second goal of the evening, Talboy assisted on Mayhugh's (Sr., Tigard, Ore.) first score of the night.

The back-and-forth continued when Jessica Adrian knotted the game at 5-5, but Hiefield got in on the assist game as she set-up Talboy's lone goal of the night.

Mayhugh followed Talboy's goal with her second of the half, putting the Boxers ahead 7-5 with 10:17 left in the period. Two minutes after Mayhugh netted her second, Adrian did the same, pulling the Bruins within one of the Boxers.

Lanz rattled the cage for the next two goals of the half, before Nakashimada scored the final goal of the half, which sent the two sides to the halftime break with Pacific leading 9-7.

Halftime adjustments led to a lower scoring half in the second period, however Lanz opened the scoring by completing her hat trick 56 seconds into the half.

Marlissa Wingett scored for George Fox with 28:03 on the clock, only to see Lanz assist on two-straight Hiefield goals. Hiefield's back-to-back scores, which completed her Texas hat trick, included the eventual game winner for Pacific.

The Bruins struck with 21:36 left in regulation as Edwords, the conference leader in goals, netted her fourth goal of the night.

Mayhugh put Pacific up 13-9 with 19:02 on the clock, only to see George Fox's Nakashimada and Mikaela Easterlin score two-straight for the Bruins entering the final 15 minutes of play.

The final goal of the evening came with 6:46 on the clock, as Lanz assisted on Mayhugh's fourth tally of the night.

Hiefield and Mayhugh both finished with four goals, while Lanz was the only other multi-goal scorer for Pacific with three. Chapman, Talboy and Leeming each finished the night with a goal.

Lanz led Pacific with four assists, while Talboy dished out two. Hiefield recorded one assist on the night.

Chapman finished the evening with a team-high three caused turnovers and six ground balls. Mayhugh led the Boxers with seven draw controls, while Lanz controlled six draws.

Adrienne Salzwedel (So., Beaverton, Ore.) recorded six saves in the victory.

The Boxers return to the Hanson Stadium turf tomorrow to host Whitman with first draw scheduled for 5 p.m.
