TACOMA, Wash. — The No. 23 Pacific Lutheran women's soccer team scored three first half goals and added a fourth in the second period to topple Pacific 4-0 at East Field.
The Lutes' opening goal came in the fifth minute, before tallying two additional goals in the opening 16 minutes of play.
PLU netted a fourth and final goal in the 56th as Leah Magee scored off an assist from Liz Griffith.
The Boxers recorded four shots on goal in the match and eight overall, with
Emily Thompson (Orange County, Calif.),
Holly Chang-Northway (Eugene, Ore.) and
Devon Medina (Oak Park, Calif.) firing off two shots each.
Goalkeeper
Kailey Hifumi (Mililani, Hawaii) recorded four saves in the loss.
The Boxers will makeup a previously postponed match against Linfield in McMinnville on Wednesday at 8:15 p.m.
