MCMINNVILLE, Ore. — Linfield's Mary Cait Moriarty played hero with an assist and a goal as the Wildcats topped Pacific 3-0 at Maxwell Field in a makeup of a previously postponed match.

The Wildcats struck first in the 25th minute when Taylor Cole finished a Mary Cait Moriarty free kick to give Linfield a 1-0 lead.

Linfield continued to push forward on the offensive end, forcing sophomore goalkeeper
Kailey Hifumi (Mililani, Hawaii) into three additional saves before time expired on the period.

Pacific put the first shot on goal in the second period, but the Wildcats recovered and scored a second goal in the 63rd minute, as Sarah Bailey assisted on a Karlee Wilcox goal.

The final tally of the evening came in the 89th minute as Moriarty connected on a free kick from 40 yards out.
