Sarah Curl led the Boxers with 15 points and 10 rebounds for her second double-double of the season, while Pacific topped Corban 65-57 inside the Stoller Center on Monday evening.

Curl led Pacific off the bench in scoring, while
Karli McHone (Glenns Fery, Idaho) tallied 11 from the start.

After trading baskets in the opening minutes of play with the Warriors, the Boxers picked up an early momentum swing when McHone hit a 3-pointer to put Pacific up 7-6. The Boxers' good fortune continued when
Nikki Gilbert (East Wenatchee, Wash.) put the Boxers up by three with a jumper at the 5:44 mark.

Corban pulled within two with 2:39 left in the period, but Curl (Portland, Ore.) tallied four-straight points giving Pacific a six-point advantage in the final minute. A late Corban basket would leave Pacific with a 15-11 advantage at the quarter break.

The Warriors returned to the floor after the break with five-straight points and pulling out to a one-point lead.
Erica Pagan (Kailua, Hawaii) nailed a 3-pointer with 7:51 left in the opening half, putting Pacific back on-top with an 18-16 advantage. The Boxers saw the score even at 18-18 before Curl and
Lauren Lykins (Hillsboro, Ore.) combined for six points, pushing the home lead to six at the 5:20 mark.

The Boxers' lead reached eight just outside the three-minute mark, and was cut down to thee when Corban's Maci Benedict hit a 3-pointer with 1:23 remaining in the half. Gilbert and Curl put Pacific up by seven in the final 30 seconds. A late Corban free throw sent the two sides to the dressing room with the Boxers holding a 34-28 lead.

Just as the first half began with a back-and-forth battle, the second period was more of the same as neither team scored on back-to-back possessions until the clock hit 4:30 in the third period. With 5:04 on the clock, Corban's Payton Wilcox hit a jumper and was followed up at 4:30 by Hannah Shore's jumper that pulled the visitors within two.

More baskets were traded as Corban looked to claw back into the game, pulling within one at the 1:19 mark until a layup by
Leah Bassik (Anthem, Ariz.) was matched by a Benedict layup on the Corban end to tie the score at 45-45.

The final bucket of the third quarter came with six seconds left when
Jordan Oster (Santa Clarita, Calif.) drove through the middle of the lane and got a finger roll to fall. Oster's late make gave Pacific a 47-45 advantage after three quarters.

After an early basket in the fourth quarter by Corban evened the score at 47-47, Pacific ran out to a 10-point lead with 4:00 on the clock. Corban cut Pacific's lead to four points in the final three minutes of play, but Gilbert and McHone scored the final four points of the evening to secure a 65-57 victory over the Warriors.

Curl led Pacific with 10 rebounds, while
Merrily Jones (Milwaukie, Ore.) grabbed six boards as Pacific outrebounded Corban 41-34.
Jillian Ross (St. Helens, Ore.) dished out three assists for the Boxers on the evening.

Pacific wraps up its early home stand on Sunday with a 2 p.m. tipoff inside the Stoller Center against Oregon Tech.
