Harris, a freshman, is a two-time 4A state runner-up from Crook County High School. du Plooy played No. 1 singles for parts of last season at Brescia, an NAIA school.
In the tighest match of the day du Plooy and doubles partner
Kaitlyn Lomartire lost a nail-bitter at No. 1 doubles to Harris and Ella Riddle, 9-8 (7-4).
