MCMINNVILLE, Ore. — Pacific goalkeeper
Saya Brown recorded 14 saves in the Boxers' 2-0 road loss at Linfield on Sunday.
Linfield (5-4-1, 3-2-1 NWC) opened the scoring in the 11th minute when Taylor Cole scored off an assist from Yasmeen Ramos.
The Boxers (0-8-2, 0-6-1 NWC) surrendered a second goal in the 45th minute as Emma Smith converted from the penalty spot.
THE MATCH WAS OVER WHEN... Cole collected a pass from Ramos in the 11th minute and slotted the game winner into the bottom corner of the goal.
STAT OF THE GAME... Brown (Bothell, Wash.) recorded a career high 14 saves at the Linfield Soccer Stadium on Sunday.
NEXT UP... The Boxers continue a run of road matches on Saturday with a noon scheduled kickoff at Lewis & Clark.
