PORTLAND — A pair of Kennie Beighle goals earned Lewis & Clark a 2-0 home win over Pacific on Saturday at Griswold Stadium.
After a scoreless opening half, the Boxers (0-9-2, 0-6-1 NWC) surrendered the eventual winner in the 78th minute when Beighle scored via an assist by Anna Aucedo.
The Pioneers (2-7-2, 1-5-1 NWC) picked up an insurance goal in the 89th when Beighle completed the double with a tap-in goal proving her second tally of the day.
THE MATCH WAS OVER WHEN... In the 81st minute, senior
Kayla Mizo (Kailua, Hawaii) delivered the final shot on goal of the day for Pacific, but saw it turned away by Lewis & Clark's Hannah Osmundson.
