NEWBERG, Ore. — Maria Frias recorded a career-high two shots on goal on Wednesday at the Austin Sports Complex as the Boxers fell 3-0 at George Fox.

 The Bruins (6-4-2, 4-3-2 NWC) opened the scoring in the 10
th minute when Jayli Miyamoto scored off an assist from Chloe Shumaker. Puka Ahina made it 2-0 in the 50
th, while Emma Weme extended the lead over the Boxers (0-11-2, 0-8-1 NWC) with a goal in the 69
th minute.

THE MATCH WAS OVER WHEN… Weme notched her third goal of the season in the 69
th minute to give the Bruins a three-goal cushion late.

STAT OF THE GAME…  Frias (Newberg, Ore.) took two shots on the evening, placing both on frame. Frias' two shots on goal were a career high for the junior.
