FOREST GROVE, Ore. — Four different Boxers scored on the afternoon, including a goal and an assist from junior
Peter Vizzoni, as the Boxers cruised to a 4-1 home victory over Linfield at Ledbetter Field at Hanson Stadium.
Senior
Weli Alamillo (Aiea, Hawaii) opened the scoring for the Boxers (8-5-1, 5-4-1) in the 43rd minute, when he converted a penalty kick chance for his fourth goal of the season.
The 48th minute saw Vizzoni (Snohomish, Wash.) sprint down the right flank before cutting toward the center of the field and firing a shot inside the near post from 10 yards to put the Boxers up 2-0.
Senior
Matt Kimball (Tigard, Ore.) increased the Boxers' lead to 3-0 after a low hard pass from freshman
James Curro (Anchorage, Alaska) deflected off a Linfield (2-12-0, 0-10-0 NWC) defender and found the feet of Kimball. The Boxers' leading scorer in 2017, Kimball, tallied his seventh of the year as he tucked a 12-yard shot inside the near post.
The Boxers were not done scoring, as Vizzoni drove a cross toward the front of the goal mouth, which was tapped in from five yards out by sophomore

Linfield's Henry Rosenfeld curled a 15-yard shot inside the far post in the 86th minute to pull the final score to 4-1 in the Boxers' advantage.
