The Pacific University women's tennis team lost to host Whitman on Sunday, 8-1.
 
The Blues (7-1, 7-0 NWC) won all three doubles matches and won five of six singles matches for the win. Whitman is currently ranked No. 27 in the nation and sixth in the West Region.
 
The Boxers (2-4, 0-4 NWC) got their lone win at No. 1 singles when Kaitlyn Lomartire (Portland, Ore.) came back from a set down to win 2-6, 6-2, 10-7. The win for Lomartire is her team-leading sixth win on the season.  

Pacific is idle for the next two weeks before they host Colorado College on Sunday, Mar. 19 at 10 a.m.
