MCMINNVILLE, Ore. —
Jordyn Godfrey and
April Lanz both struck for four goals, while
Jasmyne Contant notched a hat trick in the Boxers' 15-3 road victory against Linfield on Wednesday evening.
Godfrey (Burnt Hills, N.Y.) struck first with a goal less than a minute into play, while Lanz (Oregon City, Ore.) made it 2-0 in the Boxers' favor less than 30 seconds later.
Roya Tahmassebi (Mountain View, Calif.) gave Pacific a 3-0 advantage with a free position goal, while
Lucy Almao (Orange County, Calif.) recorded- back-to-back assists on goals from
Paisley Hiefield (Portland, Ore.) and
Brittney Bardin (Albany, Ore.). Hiefield's goal at the 22:07 mark proved to be the game winner in the first half of play.
Pacific outscored the Wildcats 11-1 in the opening half, before earning a 4-2 advantage in the second half.
Godfrey and Lanz both finished with four goals, with Contant striking for three of her own. Bardin finished the night with two goals, while Tahmassebi and Hiefield both scored one each. Almao led Pacific with two assists, while Tahmassebi added one.
Bardin led Pacific with three ground balls in the game. On the draw, Tahmassebi led Pacific with four draw controls.
Defensively,
Meg Chapman (Woodinville, Wash.) recorded 10 caused turnovers.
Adrienne Salzwedel () made one save in the Boxers' victory.
Pacific travels to Whitman on Saturday to meet the Blues with first draw scheduled for 12 p.m.
