The Pacific University women's tennis team began the season at the ITA 2017 Fall Northwest Women's Regional in Walla Walla, Washington.
The Boxers were represented by four competitors –
Megan Meatte,
Rochelle Schoenthal,
Taylor Smallwood and
Johanna Wilson – three of which were making their collegiate debut.
In singles - in the main draw, all four lost their opening round contests. In the consolation round, Meatte and Schoenthal both dropped decisions.
In doubles – in the main draw, the Pacific tandem of
Taylor Smallwood and
Megan Meatte were defeated by Fox/Landerfelt of Lewis & Clark, 8-2. They lost by an identical margin to Bild/Fagg of Puget Sound in the consolation draw.
The Boxers will continue its work for the spring portion of its schedule with this being the lone fall tournament on the schedule.
