A 10-0 run to start the game sparked #22 George Fox, who led from start to finish en route to an 86-60 win over the Pacific University women's basketball team, who landed three players in double figures.

The Boxers (3-12, 2-5 NWC) were led by freshmen
Courtney Carolan (Spokane Valley, Wash.) and junior
Megan Wesel (Winchester, Calif.) both with 16 points, plus senior,
Lauren Lykins (Hillsboro, Ore.) also added 12 points in the game.

George Fox (13-3, 6-1 NWC) had two players in double figures including junior Tavin Headings, who had a game-high 22 points for the Bruins in which 15 of those points came from beyond the arc. Sophomore Hailey Hartney also added 10 points for the Bruins, who spread the scoring among 12 players.

The Bruins started the game with a 10-0 run and kept the Boxers to shooting 27.3% in the first period. In the second period, Pacific cut the deficit to 16, 44-28, at the halftime break. In the quarter, Pacific cut the deficit to 13, on the strength of an 11-0 run midway through the second.
