The Pacific men's tennis team wrapped up the fall portion of its schedule with a 7-2 win over #31 UC Santa Cruz at the Holce Tennis Courts on Wednesday.
The Boxers (2-0) started the match, winning two of the three matches. Among the winners were
Reyn Miyagawa and
Joey Hu at No. 2 and
Sean Murphy and
Quentin Gonzalez at No. 3, who were victorious by 8-1 margins.

The Banana Slugs (0-2) got wins at No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles on the day.

"The win will definitely boost our confidence going into the spring season," said second year head coach
Pete Yellico. "I've got a squad of great young talent that are as hungry as any team in the country. Everyone today showed how competitive they are by fighting to win every single point even after we clinched the match."
Pacific dominated the singles play, winning five of the six singles matches in straight-set fashion. Junior
Rayden Murata clinched the victory with a 6-3, 6-2 win at No. 2 singles.
