The Boxer defense had gone 312 straight minutes without giving up a goal until Friday night. Whitman was able to find the back of the net in the 84
th minute, beating the Pacific 1-0.

Pacific (2-12-1, 2-8-1 NWC) would out shoot the Blues (4-11-1, 4-8-0 NWC) in the first half totaling four shots on goal to Whitman's one. The Boxers would be on attack early as
Emily Thompson and
Holly Bartholomew let shots fly in the sixth minute.

Courtney Olsen would have the Boxers first scoring chance as the Blues keeper, Bryanna Schreiber, saved her shot in the 11
th minute. Pacific would get two more shots on goal before Whitman would get their only attempt on goal via a header by Dani Espinoza which would be saved by Boxer keeper
Saya Brown.

Pacific's final shot attempt would be from
Gabby Glaser in the 38
th minute, which Schreiber would save. It would be the final shot attempt from either team in the first half.

The second half would be a defensive one, as Whitman would have two attempts on goal and the Boxers would have none. Both teams would have early chances sail just wide.

Four minutes into half number two, the Blues Pagan Hetherington would come close to opening the scoring after taking possession deep in the Boxer half. Pacific would counter as Thompson and
Devon Medina would both have near makes in the 56

Then, after a flurry of yellow cards were handed out to both teams, the Blues would net the only goal of the night. Hetherington would score from 25 yards out off of a set piece in the 84
th minute, giving the Blues the lead and ultimately the victory.
