In a match that saw the Boxers get out shot 36-8, they would come away from the match tying the Linfield Wildcats 2-2.

The Pacific (2-9-4, 1-7-3 NWC) defense would hold strong and knock away many of the Wildcats' (5-7-3, 3-5-3 NWC) first half attempts, as only one attempt would go on goal and be turned away by keeper
Brock Jones.

Boxers would only need two shot attempts on goal in the first half as both would end in success.

Woodey Greer would score his first goal of the season in the 20
th minute after
Grant Rutledge sent in a ground cross off of a corner-kick Pacific was awarded.

Robert Nurmi deked the Wildcats, beating the keeper far post to give the Boxers a 1-0 lead.

Either team wouldn't be able to create pressure until Jones was challenged in the 35
th minute, making his lone save of the half.

Then, just six minutes after the Pacific save,
Jake Castanha would double the Boxer lead after
Grant Garcia would thread the needle on a ground pass between two Wildcat defenders, leading to Castanha using one touch and a shot to beat the keeper.

Boxers would lead 2-0 going into the second half.

The second half saw Linfield switch to an all-out attack, getting off 22 total shots, seven going on target.

Linfield would get on the board in the 65
th minute after the Wildcats were given a penalty kick that Isaias Flores would convert just getting it by Jones' outstretched arms.

Jones would then make three straight saves before the Wildcats tied it up in the 84
th minute off of a direct free kick attempt from 35 yards out.

In the first overtime,
Cade Taniguchi would nearly end the match after curling a ball just wide in the 99
th minute. Jones would make two overtime saves, one coming in the 106
th minute, effectively ending the game in a tie.
