A four goal first half effort led host Pacific Lutheran to a 4-0 win over the Pacific University women's soccer team on Sunday afternoon in Tacoma.
The Lutes (11-3-4, 10-2-2 NWC) had four-different goal scorers in the opening 45 minutes and goalkeepers Natalie Robinson and Cassidy Crosswhite kept Pacific off the scoreboard for the shutout.
The Boxers (2-15-1, 2-11-1 NWC) were limited to one shot by
Emily Thompson in the loss. Goalkeeper
Saya Brown had a pair of saves in the loss for Pacific.
Thompson had a shot in the 53
rd minute that was saved by Robinson for the Boxers.
Next, Pacific will come home for the final weekend of the season to host Linfield on Friday, Nov. 2 at 4:30 p.m. and Willamette for Senior Day on Sunday, Nov. 4 at noon.
