[pictured] each scored a goal in the Pacific University women's lacrosse game, where the Boxers' dropped a 19-2 decision to Saint Mary's College on Tuesday afternoon.
The Boxers (0-6) had 12 shots – including seven by
Jasmyne Adame-Contant (Martinez, Calif.) and picked up 21 ground balls in the loss. Plus, sophomore goal
Ariel Watanabe (Colorado Springs, Colo.) had a 15-save effort.
The Belles (3-0) spread the scoring among eight-different players in the win. Erin Doyle had a team-high five, plus Molly Stout and Kate Kelly each had four in the victory.
Pacific had a few scoring opportunities late in the contest including a free-position attempt by Adame-Contant that challenged the Belles' defense and forced goalkeeper Emily Kraker to make some stellar saves to keep the Boxers off the scoreboard.
Next up for Pacific is a contest on Friday, Mar. 30 against Whitman at Ledbetter Field at Hanson Stadium.
