The Pacific University women's tennis team dropped a 9-0 contest to Austin College in a non-conference matchup on Friday at the Holce Tennis Courts in Forest Grove.
The Boxers (2-5) lost three tightly-contested matches in doubles to begin the contest. The team of

Chantelle Baclay were 8-4 losers at No. 1 doubles and
Taylor Smallwood and
Megan Meatte lost an 8-3 decision at No. 3 doubles.
Baclay was also involved in a close match in singles, losing 6-4, 6-1 at No. 1 singles and
Sophia Nishimura was a 6-2, 6-3 loser at No. 2 singles.
The Boxers will be back in action on Sunday, Mar. 18 at 9 a.m. when they host the College of Idaho at the Holce Tennis Courts.
