The Pacific University men's tennis team saw its six-match winning streak snapped in a 6-3 loss to No. 16 Trinity (Texas) on Thursday in San Antonio.
The Boxers (8-3) battled the nationally-ranked Tigers throughout the match despite the loss.
Pacific found itself behind losing all three doubles matches for just the second time on the season. The No. 1 doubles team of

Rayden Murata and the No. 3 team of
Ford Nakagawa and
Sean Murphy lost by close 8-6 margins, respectively.
Wight got the first win of the day for the Boxers with a 6-4, 6-2 win at No. 1 singles. His win over Jordan Pitts ended a five-match winning streak for the Tiger sophomore. Wight has won four of his last five matches.
The next winner on the day for Pacific was Murata at No. 4 singles in a 6-1, 6-2 win. He has won five of his last six singles matches.
The final victory for Pacific came when
