The Pacific University women's tennis team ended the home portion of its schedule with a 9-0 loss to Lewis & Clark on Saturday in Forest Grove.
The Boxers (2-9, 0-7 NWC) challenged one of the top teams in the conference throughout the match. The Boxers' No. 1 doubles team
Marissa Hayashi and
Chantelle Baclay dropped a tough 8-4 decision. Lewis & Clark went on to take all three doubles matches to begin the contest.
The Pioneers (10-3, 6-1 NWC) managed to take all six singles matches in straight sets including a 7-5, 7-5 win at No. 1 singles by Christine Eliazo over
Chantelle Baclay.
Next, Pacific will end its 2018 season with a trip to face Willamette on Sunday, April 15 at noon.
