Box Score The Pacific men's soccer team opened up the 2018 season with a 0-0 tie against host Macalaster on Friday afternoon in St. Paul, Minnesota.
The Boxers (0-0-1) had six shots in the scoreless draw against the Scots. Six-different players had a shot in the tie.Â
The Scots (0-0-1) recorded 18 shots against the Pacific defense. Max Kent led the match with three shots.
"It was a gritty performance in tough conditions on the road," said Pacific head coach
Eric Mild. "It's a fair results and I am proud of the team's effort." Pacific freshman goalkeeper
Brock Jones (Fountain Hills, Ariz.), who logged the entire 110 minutes between the posts, posted his first career shutout in his Pacific debut.Â
The Boxers will wrap up its trip to the state of Minnesota as they will face Hamline on Sunday at 10:30 am (PST)/12:30 pm (CST).
