The Pioneers, who fall to 2-3-1 and 0-2 in the Northwest Conference, recorded a 9-8 advantage on shots in the loss.

Mikayla Tucker (pictured to the left) interrupted a 1 on 1 opportunity by Courtney Schmidt. Tucker emerged in the back line of the defense, marking the Pioneers forward and taking her shot attempt away from the empty net.

Next, Pacific will travel to face Whitman on Saturday, Sept. 22 at noon and Whitworth on Sunday, Sept. 23 at noon to continue the rigors of the Northwest Conference.
