Playing in their fifth match in three days, veteran head coach
Kip Yoshimura used his entire roster in the 25-7, 25-12, 25-18 win over Mills College on Sunday in Forest Grove.
The Boxers (4-1), who extend their winning streak to three, used a full complement of contributors in the win.
The Dragons (0-5) were led by Myeisha Wiiliams and Alicia Zimmerman, who had four kills and seven digs, respectively.
Three Pacific freshmen led the Boxers in the win,
Elika Unti paced the attack with a match-high nine kills as Pacific hit .388 in the win.
Makenna Mahuna had 31 assists and
Haley Walz served up six aces in the win.
The Boxers will next travel to Colorado for four matches in two days as they take part in the Colorado College Tournament, Friday, Sept. 7 and the Johnson & Wales Tournament, Saturday, Sept. 8.
While at the Colorado College Tournament, Pacific will face the University of Minnesota-Morris and host Colorado College at 11 a.m. and 5 p.m., respectively. Then, while at the Johnson & Wales Tournament, the Boxers will face Briar Cliff and Johnson & Wales at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m., respectively.
