In the second quarter the Boxers would open on an 8-2 run cutting the deficit to just four thanks to Charli Elliott who went 2-2 from the field and recorded two steals.

The Boxers defense would allow only eight second quarter points, and cut the deficit to one heading into halftime, trailing 28-27.

Pacific would then open the second-half on a 10-2 run, taking their first lead of the game and making it as large as seven. The Pioneers would counter with a 7-0 run of their own, and the game would be tied at 37 midway through the third quarter.

The rest of the quarter would be back and forth and the Boxers would take a 43-42 lead into the fourth quarter.

With just over two minutes remaining, Lewis and Clark would cut the deficit down to two, trailing 54-52. But the Boxers Alexa Hinkley would hit a clutch three to extend the lead back to five.
