The Pacific University women's soccer team dropped a 3-0 decision to Lewis & Clark on Sunday afternoon.
The host Boxers (3-9-1, 1-8-1 NWC) managed a 4-3 advantage in shots in the opening 45 minutes before being out shot by a 7-1 margin in the final 45 minutes. Senior
Courtney Olsen had a pair of free kick opportunities in the first half that challenged the Lewis & Clark defense and its goalkeeper Abby Prager.
The Pioneers (5-7-2, 4-5-1 NWC) were able to get on the board in the ninth minute as Shelby Vaver scored. Lewis & Clark added goals in the 63
rd and 74
th minute by Sara Klott and Brecklyn Beighle, respectively for the final margin. Prager made four saves en route to the shutout win.

Lydia King nearly had the equalizer before a save by Prager kept Pacific off the scoreboard. Later in the half, Emily Rutskowski had a shot that was also saved by the Pioneers to keep the visitors ahead 1-0.
Pacific will next host Willamette on Saturday, Oct. 26 at noon.
