League Leading PLU Defeats Pacific Women's Soccer, 4-0

The Pacific women's soccer team dropped a 4-0 decision to Pacific Lutheran on Sunday in Tacoma.

The Lutes (14-1-1, 12-0 NWC) scored three times in the first half and added another in the second half en route to the win. PLU had four-different goal scorers in the win including Ellie Johnson, Tasha Tennyson, Brianna Hunting and Leah Magee.

The Boxers (3-11-1, 1-10-1 NWC) were limited to a shot by Karla Herrera-Zarate in the loss. The attempt in the 42nd minute was blocked by a PLU defense, who recorded its 13th shutout on the season.

Pacific will next travel to Whitworth on Saturday, Nov. 2 at 11 a.m. and Whitman on Sunday, Nov. 3 at 11 a.m.
