The Pacific University volleyball team hit a blistering .309 with three players recording double-digit kills (
Milana Ivkovic – 16;
Elika Unti – 15;
Jordan Zweifel – 14) en route to a 32-30, 24-26, 25-13, 25-17 win over Pacific Lutheran on Saturday night.
The Boxers (12-4, 5-1 NWC) recorded its second-highest hitting percentage of the season in the win. To compliment the hitting attack,
Makenna Mahuna had 53 assists and the Boxers recorded 11 service aces – five of which from
Haley Walz - in the win.
Plus, Walz had 16 digs and
Karlee Duncan added 14 to go along with nine kills in the all-around team effort for the win. Elika Uniti had her hand on 10 blocks including nine block assists to record a double double.
The Lutes (11-7, 4-2 NWC) recorded a .155 hitting percentage in the loss as Danielle Skibell shared in match-high honors with 16 kills in the loss. Emily Dulaney added 37 assists in the loss for Pacific Lutheran.
Next, Pacific will host Linfield on Friday, Oct. 11 at 7 p.m. in McMinnville.
