After starting the match with a blistering .448 hitting percentage in the opening set, the Pacific volleyball team was held to a .030 hitting percentage for the next three sets as they lost in four to Pacific Lutheran on Saturday night in Tacoma.
The Lutes, who improve to 16-10 and 9-5 in the Northwest Conference came back with a 16-25, 25-10, 25-18, 25-17 win over the visiting Boxers, who fall to 16-8 overall and 9-5 in the Northwest Conference.

For Pacific,
Nanea Lum led the Boxers with 12 kills and
Elika Unti added 10 in the loss.
Shaianne Cambra had 36 assists and
Kierstin Evenson paced the Boxers with three service aces.

For Pacific Lutheran, they were a balanced attack that saw four-different players with at least eight kills including Danielle Skibel (10 kills), Bailey Johnson (10 kills), Savanna Service (9 kills) and McKenzie Pfeiffer (8 kills). The frontline for the Lutes teamed up to record 18 blocks and picked up six service aces from the service line. Emily Dulaney recorded a match-high 39 assists in the win for PLU.

Next, Pacific will host its final two matches of the season as they will host Linfield on Friday, Nov. 8 at 7 p.m. and Willamette on Saturday, Nov. 9 at 6 p.m.
