The Boxers (1-0) were led by junior
Camy Aguinaldo, who scored a team-high 16 points and handed out six assists. She was joined in double figures by junior
Courtney Carolan, who added 11. Plus, freshman
Rilee Price had eight steals as the Boxers forced 21 turnovers and outscored Evergreen State, 19-13. The Pacific bench outscored Evergreen State, 17-4 in the win.
The Geoducks (0-1) were able to land three players in double figures as Trinity Betoney led all scorers with 18 points. She was joined in double figures by Jerri Maluyo and Anna Cook, who added 15 and 12 points, respectively.
Pacific trailed by 2, 46-44, to start the final period before the senior from Portland hit her second 3-pointer of the contest that put the host Boxers ahead for the remainder of the contest. The trifecta sparked an 8-0 run to begin the quarter.
