Riley Stewart of the men's cross country team and Jordan Zweifel of the volleyball team were named the Pacific University Boxer Club Athlete of the Month for October 2019.

Riley Stewart, who has been the top male finisher for the Boxers all season, led the Pacific men to an eighth-place finish at the Northwest Conference Championships with an 18^th-place individual finish. 

In the month, Zweifel recorded five double double performances in the month of October including 22 kills and 16 digs in a five-set win over Puget Sound. She followed that up with a 14 kill, six-dig performance in the four-set win over Pacific Lutheran. Those two efforts secured her both Northwest Conference Offensive Player of the Week and the Sports Imports/AVCA NCAA Division III Player of the Week. It is the first time in school history that Pacific has had a national volleyball player of the week.
