Willamette scored 12 first half goals en route to a 16-2 win over the Pacific lacrosse team on Saturday in Forest Grove.
The Boxers (2-10, 1-9) scored back-to-back after a goal by the Bearcats' scored :29 into the second half.
Pacific got on the scoreboard with 18:01 left in the contest as
Hannah Reulbach (pictured) found the back of the net. Moments later,
Madisen Castro added the second goal of the contest for Pacific, cutting the Willamette lead to 13-2.
Reulbach who will graduate from Pacific in May was honored as part of Senior Day festivities at halftime.
The Bearcats scored the final three goals of the game en route to the win. Anabel Ohsman scored a game-high seven goals on 12 shots. Three Bearcats – Alayna Newland, Miranda Piros and Miya Konishi - each scored twice in the win. Boxer goalkeeper Rachel Ariza faced 23 shots, making seven saves in the loss for Pacific.
Next up for Pacific is a contest against Whitman that has been moved to McMinnville on Sunday at 4 p.m.
