Boxers End Season with 9-0 Loss to Lewis & Clark

The Pacific University women's tennis team ended its season with a 9-0 loss to Lewis & Clark on Saturday.
 
The Boxers (4-13, 1-7 NWC) found itself behind early after the host Pioneers took all three doubles matches.
 
Singles play saw a pair of tightly contested matches including at #2 singles as the Boxers' Adrienne Powell was edged in a pair of close sets by Madelyn Landerfelt, 7-5 (7-1), 7-6. Chantelle Baclay wrapped up her Pacific career with a 6-0, 7-5 loss at #1 singles. Marissa Hayashi concluded her career with a 6-2, 6-3 loss at #4 singles.
