Three early goals sparked host Occidental en route to a 6-1 win over the Pacific University men's soccer team in the 2019 season opener for both teams.

The Tigers (1-0) found the back of the net on three occasions in the opening 26 minutes for the early ad.

The Boxers (0-1) got on the scoreboard when senior Woodey Greer scored an unassisted tally in the 36^th minute.

Occidental added to its lead with two more goals in the opening half and its final goal in the 56^th minute for the final margin.

The other shot for Pacific came from Braden Kojima in the loss.

Pacific will look to bounce back with matchup against Chapman in Orange, California on Sunday at 1 p.m.
