The Pacific University men's soccer team dropped a 4-0 decision to NCAA Division II, Saint Martin's on Thursday in Lacey, Washington.
The Boxers (1-3-1) were limited to three shots by the Saints in the loss.
Grant Garcia accounted for the only shot on goal for Pacific.
The Saints (2-0-1) were led by Brandon Madsen, who accounted for a pair of goals to lead Saint Martin's. Erik De Anda came off the bench to record a match-high five shots – three of which were on goal. Saint Martin's used a goalkeeper – Dylan Shaw and Hunter Askland - in each 45 minutes of the shutout.
Pacific will now turn its attention to the rigors of the Northwest Conference when they will open play against Puget Sound (Saturday, Sept. 21 at 2:30 p.m.) and Pacific Lutheran (Sunday, Sept. 22 at 2:30 p.m.).
