Lewis & Clark Edges Pacific, 2-0

A pair of second half goals led host Lewis & Clark to a 2-0 win over Pacific University women's soccer on Sunday.

The Boxers (2-3, 0-2 NWC) had six shots in the loss including three from Lydia King.  

The Pioneers (3-2-1, 2-0 NWC) ended the 0-0 match with a goal by Julia Markmann in the 49th minute on just the second shot of the game for Lewis & Clark. Later in the half, they added an insurance tally in the 67th minute as Kennie Beighle scored.

Next, Pacific will continue conference play with a matchup at Willamette on Saturday, Sept. 28 at noon and host Pacific Lutheran on Sunday, Sept. 29 at noon.
