The Pacific University men's soccer team and Oregon Tech went back and forth for 110 minutes in a 0-0 tie between the two teams on Thursday night.
The Boxers (0-2-1) were led by the efforts of its senior goalkeeper
Jack Cuevas, who made seven saves in the contest. His efforts included a highlight-worthy save in the 70
th minute on an attempt by the Owls kept the match scoreless.
The Owls (2-0-2) managed to out shoot the Boxers by a 7-4 margin in shots on goal in the tie. Cade Roske for Oregon Tech had a match-high four shots in the contest.
For Pacific,
Robert Nurmi and
Grant Rutledge each had two shots in the tie to lead the Boxers.
Next, Pacific will face La Verne on Sunday at 1 p.m. at Hanson Stadium.
