The Pacific University women's tennis team opened up its 2019-20 season at the Willamette Valley 4 Way hosted by Linfield in McMinnville.
With one week of practice, the Boxers were able to get in many matches before rain took over the conditions. The lone win on the day for Pacific came when freshman Kailei Eusis and junior
Megan Meatte teamed up for an 8-2 win over a pair from Willamette.
The tournament is scheduled to resume on Sunday at 8 a.m. in McMinnville.
