The service game for the Pacific University volleyball team played a key role in a split of its two matches at the Pacific Hawaii Invitational at Le Jardin Academy in Kailua, Hawaii.
The Boxers (3-3) started the day with a heartbreaking, five-set loss to Simpson as they fell by a 20-25, 20-25, 25-15 25-19, 15-12 decision. Pacific committed 15 service errors in the loss. Offensively, Pacific was led by a 16-kill performance from junior
Jordan Zweifel, who recorded a .211 hitting percentage. Pacific managed to hit .109 in the loss.
Milana Ivkovic added nine kills and four blocks to the contest.

Pacific will wrap up its trip to Hawaii with a rematch on Sunday against both institutions before returning to Forest Grove.
