The Pacific men's tennis won its second-straight match by a 9-0 margin on Sunday with a victory over Bellevue College.
The Boxers (2-4) swept through the doubles with an 8-0 win at #3 (
Garret Katayama/
Joey Balleweg) and a pair of 8-3 wins at #1 (
Sean Murphy/
Quentin Gonzalez) and at #2 (
Rayden Murata/
Matt Weiler).
Pacific continued its winning ways in singles action, beginning with a 6-1, 6-0 win at #1 singles by
Reyn Miyagawa. Next, sophomore
Koby Murata clinched the match with a 6-1, 6-1 win at #3 singles. The Boxers would go on to win at #2 singles by
Joey Hu, who was a 6-0, 6-1 winner.
Also getting wins on Sunday were freshmen Jeffrey Kubota at #5 singles and
Rush Williams at #6 singles.
The Boxers will continue its non-conference schedule when they host Otterbein University on March 1 at the Holce Tennis Courts at 1 p.m.
