The Pacific University men's tennis team won its third-straight match by a 9-0 margin with a victory over Otterbein University on Sunday.
The Boxers (3-4) set the tone for the win, winning all three doubles matches. The team of

Joey Hu were 8-0 winners at #1, followed by an 8-1 win at #2 by
Sean Murphy and
Quentin Gonzalez. The third win came by an 8-5 margin by
Rayden Murata/
Reyn Miyagawa.
The Cardinals (6-2) are on a Spring Break trip where they will play five Northwest Conference teams in seven days.

Pete Yellico said following the match, "taking every match in straight sets showcases our depth and will continue to give us confidence heading into Northwest Conference play next weekend." The momentum from doubles came to the singles side as the Boxers won all six in straight set fashion. "The guys have been working extremely hard on and off the court and are eager to get started with conference play," said Yellico.
Conference play starts next Sunday, Mar. 8 at 11 a.m. as the Boxers will travel to McMinnville to face Linfield.
