The Boxers (6-15, 3-9 NWC) scored the first seven points of the contest and remained in front through the opening seven minutes. Â
The Loggers (10-11, 4-8 NWC) managed to take its first lead of the night when Jourdan Joseph made one of two free throws with 12:17 left in the opening half.
The game remained close for the next five minutes as Fortune made two free throws with 6:50 left in the half to tie the game at 26. The visitors came back with a 7-2 spurt to take the lead for the remainder of the contest.

Puget Sound scored the final four points of the first half, taking 50-41 lead at the break. Stellan Roberts and Grant Erickson had 14 and 10 points, respectively to lead the visitors. Roberts went on to score a game-high 24 in the win to lead four Loggers in double figures. Erickson added 19, Joseph had 17 and John Misel added 12.

Misel made three free throws to start the second half as the visitors built a double-digit lead for the remainder of the contest as the Boxers would get as close as 11.

Next, Pacific will travel to Spokane to face Whitworth on Friday, Feb. 14 at 8 p.m.
